What Brivix AI is

Brivix AI is a personal rental agent service. We help renters find apartments by searching listings, contacting landlords, verifying availability, and tracking responses — on the renter's behalf.

What data we collect

When you use Brivix AI, we collect:

  • Your rental profile — budget, move-in date, pet information, bedroom preference, lease preference, neighborhood preferences, and other search criteria you provide
  • Your contact information — name and email address (from Google sign-in or waitlist signup)
  • Communication history — messages we send to landlords on your behalf, and responses we receive from landlords
  • Search and listing data — which listings we evaluated, match results, and listing status (contacted, available, unavailable, toured, etc.)

We do not collect passwords, financial account details, or Social Security numbers.

What we share with landlords

When we contact landlords on your behalf, we share relevant details from your profile to help them evaluate your inquiry:

  • Your name
  • Budget range
  • Move-in date
  • Pet information
  • Lease preference
  • Other details you've told us to include (occupation, household size, etc.)

We only share what's necessary for the landlord to respond to your inquiry. We do not share your email address, phone number, or financial details with landlords unless you explicitly ask us to.

How we process your data

Your profile and search criteria are stored on our backend server hosted on Fly.io. When we draft messages or evaluate listings, your data is sent to the Anthropic API (Claude) for AI processing.

We use your data only to provide the Brivix AI service — searching for apartments, contacting landlords, and managing your search. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond your apartment search.

Where your data is stored

  • Primary storage — Google Cloud SQL (MySQL) managed database
  • Backups — Google Cloud SQL native automated backups
  • Email communications — stored on our servers (sent/received on your behalf)

All data is stored in the United States.

Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days of the request.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing support@brivix-ai.com. We will process your request within 30 days. This includes your profile, search history, and all communications sent on your behalf.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Brivix AI:

  • Anthropic — AI processing (message drafting, listing evaluation, search analysis)
  • Google Cloud — primary data storage (Cloud SQL MySQL) and user authentication (OAuth)
  • Fly.io — application hosting
  • Cloudflare — website hosting (static site only, no user data)
  • Zillow — listing search and landlord communication (we use Zillow's platform to find listings and send messages)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Text messaging

If you contact us via text message (e.g. in response to a rental inquiry), we may reply with messages about that inquiry — renter details, tour scheduling, and follow-ups. See our Text Messaging Program page for full details.

  • We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Message frequency varies based on rental inquiry activity. A typical conversation involves 2-10 messages.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text message to opt out.
